CareCompagniet offers contact persons in accordance with the Act on Social Services, chapter 11, §52, para. 3, no. 6
The contact person often functions as a stable adult in the child or adolescent’s life who for instance can provide the child with positive life experiences as well as support in relation to developing a structure and overview in the everyday life and in developing a more independent lifestyle.
The contact person can be a support and motivator in relation to retention in education, helping with searching for jobs/apprenticeships and be instrumental in terms of creating positive leisure interests for the young person in order to avoid them from ending up in a criminal race.
In addition, contact persons can also be of help to children and adolescents who undergo psychological examinations or a support for those diagnosed with for instance, depression, social anxiety or attachment difficulties.
The contact person often acts as the link between the municipality, the child/adolescent and his/her family.
CareCompagniet encompasses qualified contact persons that have professional skills in using the Integrated Children’s System (ICS) method. Our contact persons are trained to motivate the child/adolescent in relation to the goals set or the given action plan. The contact persons have experience with vulnerable and unsuitable children and adolescents and therefore also know what it takes to enter the lives of these children and adolescents and how to create and maintain change.
